About

I have a passion for fly fishing and look forward to the opportunity to share my knowledge with my guests for the day.  Whether it's your first fly fishing trip or you've made you're way around the world toting a four piece in your carry-on, I make it my goal to send you away a better fisherman.  I want you to understand the why's of our fishing day so that you're better prepared for future trips or the following day.  I'm willing to take the extra steps to make sure your trip is a memorable one whether that means breaking the day up to avoid the heat or trailering up to fish different water.  I'm here to give you a memorable trip so that I get the chance to fish with you again.

White River below Bull Shoals Lake

With over 60 miles of prime trout habitat to choose from the White River is ranked as one of the nations top trout rivers.  While the top end of the river is home to most of the trout docks and resorts the lower section is more secluded and picturesque.  Regardless of where you choose to fish on the White River the opportunity to catch a true fish of a lifetime is always there.

Guided trips include use of our Xtream river boat allowing for plenty of room for gear and anything else you would care to bring along.  Most days will see a variety of generation from minimum flows of around 675 (cfs) all the way up to over 26,000 (cfs).  With the recent implementation of minimum flow on the White River the majority of the river is accessible by our shallow drafting river boat.  This allows us to fish from the comforts of the boat and gives us the mobility to find prime water away from the crowds.  Fluctuations in generation can often leave an area unfishable due to debris from the riverbed being stirred up.  When we run into dirty water we're able to adjust on the fly and head down or upstream to find clean water and keep on fishing.

Full day trips include lunch, soft drinks and water.  We'll also have a Yeti cooler on board to keep any other beverages you care to bring ice cold.  Top end rods from Orvis, Sage and Scott are armed with top end reels to make sure your prepared for the fish of a lifetime.

Lake Tanyecomo

With all of the shopping and activities available in Branson, MO it's amazing that trophy trout water is a stones throw away.  With football shaped rainbow trout, this is a can't miss option while in town.  Located just on the outskirts of Branson, MO, Lake Taneycomo is often forgotten in favor of the attractions in town.  Make sure to find some time to really relax while you're in town on the cool waters below Table Rock Dam.

While Taneycomo is considered a lake due being dammed at it's lower end by the first dam to be constructed along the White River, the upper end fished just like the rest of our Ozark Tailwaters.  Riffles and runs are available holding tons of football shaped rainbow trout.

Trips to Taneycomo are wade trips only as most of the fishable water is available via public access.  Waders and wading boots in common sizes are available.  This is a great trip for beginners as casting distance isn't as much of a factor.  A quick roll cast can cover most of the water we need to cover.  While beginners can excel here due to short casting distance the up close fishing allows the expert caster the chance to sight cast to true trophies.

Full day trips include lunch, soft drinks and water.  Top end rods from Orvis, Sage and Scott are armed with top end reels to make sure your prepared for the fish of a lifetime.

White River below Beaver Lake

Located 11 miles from Eureka Springs, the Beaver Tailwaters offers a quick trip option or a weekend get-away within a 45 minute drive from most of NW Arkansas.

While often overlooked, in favor of the tailwaters downstream, this section of the White River offers up great fly fishing option for rainbow and the occasional brown trout.  Recent regulation changes have had a positive impact on this stretches brown trout population allowing these fish the time in the river needed to become true predators.

Full day trips include use of our Xtream river boat allowing for plenty of room for gear and anything else you would care to bring along.  Most days will see a variety of generation from 50 (cfs) to 8,800 (cfs).  During lower flows the boat allows us to move about avoiding the crowds to find the best wading conditions on the river.  When the corps sounds the horn and the flows rise the boat becomes our fishing platform.  This tailwater is lightly fished under times of generation allowing us to have the river mostly to ourselves.

Full day trips include lunch, soft drinks and water.  We'll also have a Yeti cooler on board to keep any other beverages you care to bring ice cold.  Top end rods from Orvis, Sage and Scott are armed with top end reels to make sure your prepared for the fish of a lifetime.
